Margaret Onion found guilty on an indictment for Petit Treason, the murder of her husband, Samuel, by poisoning him with a mixture of Ratsbane and milk, in the parish of White Notley on 7th April 1735, so that he died on 10th April.

She was drawn to the place of execution and there burned (having been strangled first).
